Welcome to Little Coast Events. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the service.
2. Service Description
Little Coast Events provides professional children's event planning and entertainment services across Canada. Our services include but are not limited to party planning, entertainment coordination, decoration setup, themed celebrations, and related event management services. We specialize in creating magical experiences for children's birthdays, special occasions, and celebrations.
3. Booking and Payment Terms
All bookings must be confirmed with a signed contract and required deposit. Payment terms are as follows:
- A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your event date
- Final payment is due 7 days before the scheduled event
- Late payments may result in event cancellation without refund
- All prices are subject to applicable taxes
- Additional services requested on the day of the event will incur extra charges
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while protecting our business operations:
- Cancellations 30+ days before event: 25% of total cost refunded
- Cancellations 14-29 days before event: 10% of total cost refunded
- Cancellations less than 14 days before event: No refund available
- Weather-related cancellations for outdoor events may be rescheduled without penalty
- Force majeure events will be handled on a case-by-case basis
5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the success of your event, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information about venue, guest count, and special requirements
- Ensure adequate space and access for setup and breakdown
- Provide necessary utilities (power, water) as required for equipment
- Supervise children during entertainment activities
- Inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or behavioral considerations
- Obtain necessary permits for public venues if applicable
6. Liability and Insurance
Little Coast Events maintains comprehensive liability insurance for our operations. However, clients acknowledge that:
- Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times
- We are not liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions
- Damage to venue property by guests is the client's responsibility
- Weather conditions may affect outdoor events without liability to Little Coast Events
- Our liability is limited to the cost of services contracted
7. Intellectual Property
All content, designs, concepts, and materials created by Little Coast Events remain our intellectual property. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize our proprietary entertainment concepts, decorative designs, or business methods without written permission.
8. Privacy and Photography
We respect your privacy and handle personal information according to our Privacy Policy. With client consent, we may photograph events for marketing purposes. Clients may opt out of photography or request specific restrictions on image use.
9. Force Majeure
Little Coast Events shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms which is due to fire, casualty, flood, earthquake, other natural disasters, war, strike, lockout, epidemic, pandemic, destruction of production facilities, riots, insurrection, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the province in which services are rendered. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
